Why I Became a Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach

And Why I Believe This Work Changes Lives

If you had asked me a few years ago what my “strengths” were, I probably would’ve given you a generic answer. I knew I cared deeply about people. I was the one who noticed when someone wasn’t okay. I loved creating a positive atmosphere and I always followed through on my promises. But I didn’t know that these weren’t just personality traits – they were superpowers.

Then I discovered the CliftonStrengths Assessment.
And everything changed.

A Lightbulb Moment

Taking the CliftonStrengths assessment wasn’t just interesting – it was transformational. It gave language to things I’d felt all my life, but never fully understood.

That my deep sensitivity to others wasn’t “too much”—it was Empathy.
That my joy in encouraging people wasn’t “fluff”—it was Positivity.
That my need to follow through wasn’t pressure—it was Responsibility.
That my love for meaningful connection wasn’t clingy—it was Relator.
That my sense that we’re all connected wasn’t naïve—it was Connectedness.

For the first time, I saw what was right with me – and how to work with it, not against it.

Why Strengths Work Matters

We live in a world that often focuses on what’s wrong:

“You need to be more assertive.”
“You’re too emotional.”
“Why can’t you just be more like… [insert name here]?”

It’s exhausting. And worse – it keeps people small.

When I saw how the CliftonStrengths approach helped me step into my real self, I knew I had to help others do the same. Because I believe we are at our best when we stop trying to be everything… and start becoming more of who we already are.

That’s when I decided to train as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.

Coaching From a Place of Purpose

Becoming a coach wasn’t just a career move—it was a calling.
I coach because:

I want people to feel seen for who they truly are.
I want teams to stop fighting against differences and start leveraging it.
I want to create a world where people stop chasing perfection and start owning their brilliance.
I want to help people feel confident, not by becoming someone else – but by becoming more of themselves.

Strengths Unlock Everything

When someone discovers their strengths, something shifts:

They speak with more clarity.
They make decisions with more confidence.
They lead with more authenticity.
They show up with more energy.

And that’s why I do this work. Because strengths coaching is not about putting you in a box. It’s about opening a door – to the best version of who you already are.

Your Strengths Story Is Waiting

If you’ve ever felt like you’re not “enough”…
If you’ve ever been told to tone it down, toughen up, or be more like someone else…

I want you to know: You don’t need to be fixed. You need to be seen.

And I would be honored to help you see what’s right with you.
